Modern English

The idea of God that is in us is adequate and perfect (E2P46); therefore, insofar as we contemplate God, we act (E3P3), and consequently (E3P59) no sadness accompanied by the idea of God can arise, that is, (E3DA7), no one can hate God. Q.E.D.
