Res quæ a Deo ad aliquid operandum determinata est, se ipsam indeterminatam reddere non potest.

A thing, which has been conditioned by God to act in a particular way, cannot render itself unconditioned.

A thing that has been determined by God to act in some way cannot render itself undetermined.

This is clear from (E1A3).
