Secondly, it follows that God, and all the attributes of God, are unchangeable. For if they could be changed in respect to existence, they must also be able to be changed in respect to essence—that is, obviously, be changed from true to false, which is absurd.

Modern English

Second, it follows that God, or all God's attributes, are unchangeable. For if they changed with respect to existence, they would also have to change with respect to essence (E1P20), that is, as is self-evident, true things would become false, which is absurd.
