Latin

Si negas, concipe si fieri potest, Deum non existere. Ergo (per axioma 7) ejus essentia non involvit existentiam. Atqui hoc (per propositionem 7) est absurdum : ergo Deus necessario existit. Q.E.D.

If this be denied, conceive, if possible, that God does not exist: then his essence does not involve existence. But this (Prop. vii.) is absurd. Therefore God necessarily exists.

Modern English

Suppose, for the sake of argument, that God does not exist. Then his essence does not involve existence (E1A7). But that is absurd (E1P7). Therefore God necessarily exists. Q.E.D.
